Look what’s snuck into this parcel of diamonds 🫣💎 I’m a Gemmologist and I’m colour grading these tiny diamonds so they can be recycled into the diamond industry 😁 These diamonds have already been used in jewellery. That Jewellery has already been scrapped. The metal has been used to make more jewelry and now the diamonds are going to be resold back into the trade. My job is to put a value on the parcel by grading the diamonds. Natural Diamonds grow in two colours series. One is a brown series

This 3ct Old Cut Diamond has absolutely made my day! This stone is very old, it has the been cut by an expert diamond cutter. Today we cut Brilliant Cut diamonds to very specific proportions to make them super sparkly but years ago the diamonds were cut by eye and most of them were ok. Every now and then you find one, like this one, where the cutter has used their expertise to make the diamond look whiter and more sparkly just with its cut! Incredible and my absolute favourite!! #diamonds #gemmo
