Dec 5, 2001 · 20 inch antique truck type tires in the 5.00-7.00 will work on the rims. Many of the trucks had larger size on the rear, which is the case with the Fire Truck. It helps top speed! a bit and there is no problem with clearance.

Is there any instructions, you tube video, manual, etc. anywhere that explains how to change tires off the rim. I understand bolt removal to collapse the rim a bit and I also have the tire tool but unsure how to work in during the process.

In 1928 all used 30 X 4.50. Passenger and commercial have 4 lug bolts holding rims on as pictured on whippet. . . . On the Utility (AKA: One Ton trucks) from 1926 - 1928 used 30 X 5 = ( 5.00 X 20 ) with 32 X 6 = (6.00 X 20) as optional.
