Jun 22, 2021 · I really wished that Jessica Drew and Peter worked together against Black Cat and Electro in ASM(2014) instead of Silk, who is a deliberate copy of Ultimate Spider-Woman, as far as her powers goes. A wasted opportunity to introduced the original Spider-Woman to the readers as a way of promoting her then upcoming series.

Typically when poor characters borrow a known name and somehow manage to sell well in spite of their blandness, it's because of a certain level of novelty that eventually wears off.
