May 29, 2023 · Razer's THX spatial audio isn't the greatest. Atmos and DTS X for headphones work better for me especially in games that explicitly support microsoft's spatial sound API for the full 3d effect including height effects. If a game doesn't support the API it just virtualizes regular 5.1 or 7.1 surround.

Jan 1, 2023 · So wait you need Ngenuity for DTS X Spacial Sound to work properly guess I'm sticking with the 7.1 USB sound card and my Cloud 2's cause Ngenuity keeps breaking my mouse to the point every time I boot my PC I have to hold down the DPI button and Scroll wheel in order for mouse tracking to work

Jun 12, 2020 · When I open Sound Settings selected are Speakers (Logitech G935/G933s Gaming Headset) and if I select Device Properties, Spatial Sound is off and greyed out, no option to turn it on. I right click the Sound Icon in the bottom right of Windows Taskbar, hover Spatial Sound and it's Off with no option to select Windows Sonic for Headphones.

Here's how to test that Sonic or Atmos for headphones is working: Turn the spatial audio output on in the sound control panel. Install VLC Playback a test multichannel video. Very easy to find say an example Dolby TrueHD channel test online. The effect is obvious.

Releasing a "tech demo" and then following up with an excuse as to why a majority of the listeners think the audio quality is lacking is just a poor PR decision.
