All of our graduate programs offer talented musicians the opportunity for advanced training. Performance opportunities for instrumentalists include the Shepherd School Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, the Chamber Players, the Contemporary Music Ensemble and various student-led initiatives.

Piano | Shepherd School of Music
Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor of Musical Arts programs in piano performance. Additionally, a Master's degree is offered in piano chamber music/accompanying and a post graduate diploma in piano performance.
