Mar 13, 2016 · Global hotkey is different. From Snagit help, "Profile hotkeys invoke a specific set of capture commands. Each profile can have its own hotkey. "In the Snagit main window, right-click each profile and click Set Hotkey. See which one has be assigned the PrintScreen key. Change that, and then set the *Global* hotkey to PrintScreen.

Jun 1, 2022 · i think i found the solution. i tried taking a screenshot with Fn + prtsc and it worked with lightshot. turns out, if you want to use prtscrn alone for lightshot you need to enable FnLock, for me Fnlock activates when i press Fn + Esc (my laptop has a little light on the Esc key to indicate if Fnlock is on or off.)
