Aug 7, 2021 · I have not read Oman's history of the Peninsular War, but I notice that Bernard Cornwall disrespects all of Britain's allies except some of the Germans. Apparently Oman's take on the quarrel of the allies and allied supply problems after Talavera distributed the blame, but to Cornwall everything that went wrong is the Spanish' fault.
