There are two points in the middle that it locks. One is almost exactly in the middle of its travel, and another is a couple inches further back than that.

Oct 28, 2018 · That square hole near the bottom of the frame has a lock in it, I disengage it by using a flathead screwdriver to push it down. You'll probably want to remove that lock, along with the one on the other shell half if you want to run a centurion without the barrel

The bolt on my NERF Centurion is jammed.
Jun 15, 2023 · Open the access door and locate the release tab on the right side. It is a small orange oval with a screw inside of it. Using a tool (pen, pencil, etc.) pull the oval towards the front of the blaster. While oval is forward, push cocking handle forward.
