Jan 25, 2018 · All the G3 variants should fold down easily and be one person operation. I have a G3 (1.0) with knobs and it will raise up by itself. The tower needs the correct gas springs for the weight of the tower accessories and the latch/handle needs to be adjusted properly.

Hopefully the striata give a bit in time and it goes all the way to the dash then there will be plenty of room! sounds like you need the garage clearance hoop. It replaces the tow bar with a less curved one and gives you around 6" more clearance.

May 2, 2008 · 2016 22 VLX with G4 tower on stock Malibu trailer (I think 15" wheels?) clears my 8' garage door with tower down. I have to pull the board racks and that's it, clears by about 2".. So down would be around 7' 10" in height.
