Jul 11, 2022 · So my cruiser is already a Stage 1 mapped with exhaust and with bigger tyres ( 285/70/17) but I suspect still the std clutch. Flywheel NM is approx 690NM. I was advised to replace clutch and do the gearing to reduce revs and increase consumption stats.

Apr 22, 2006 · We are trying to bleed the clutch now, but it's not working. We have gotten it to where it appears that there is no air in the system, but the fork still doesn't move. The master cylinder appears to function properly when we disconnected the line and tested it.

Mar 6, 2018 · It sounds like you’ve lost enough clutch fluid to prevent the clutch pedal operating the clutch. Take some brake fluid of DOT 3 or higher, an 8mm, 10mm and 12mm spanner and a length of clear tubing with a 6mm bore. Also take a transparent bottle, enough to catch half a cup full of brake fluid.

Aug 3, 2019 · Is there a known issue with these clutches or is the clutch spring/friction material just not up to the task with the Oem clutch? 10k should be barely skimming the surface on most Oem clutches, 150k easy, 200-300k if driven carefully, that obviously depending on type of terrain it's most used on and if towing or not.
