Oct 9, 2009 · The Dode Nitro version of the platform has a 3.7 & 4.0 engine option. The JEEP Liberty version only comes with a 3.7 engine, you can't get it with a 4.0. HOWEVER, you can buy a Nitro, and get all the Liberty logos and stuff, and have a 4.0 Liberty, say it's RARE.

Feb 15, 2020 · Both the KJ and KK are great off road compared other "soft-roader" SUV's of the time. They have low range 4wd, which is better than any AWD vehicle off-road and more comparable to what you'd find on a Jeep Wrangler. Forgot to mention, KJ got a refresh in the 05 model year so the bumpers/grille are different, KK refresh was 2011.

Nov 28, 2020 · Tj wheels wheels will fit, zj 16 in will fit,basically if they have the 5x4.5 lug pattern your good..alot of guys run the 16 in moabs of tj rubicon, I personally found some 05 liberty wheels to use on my 03, I like the stock wheel look

Apr 5, 2006 · i was thinking the liberty seems closer in size and specs than any other model so i had the guys in the kj forum take some measurements and they graciously took some pictures, too. the measurements were very close, the kj seats are maybe 3" taller, but aside from that the width seemed right on.

Apr 9, 2009 · This is my write-up about how I installed a rear disc brake set-up from a 2003 KJ Liberty/Cherokee with a Chrysler 8.25 axle onto my XJ Cherokee with a drum braked 29 spline Chrysler 8.25. I bought the parts from a breaker that was advertising parts from a crashed 2003 Liberty (Cherokee here in the UK).
