Unzip the file then import into Garmin Connect using the import data page. Repaired using Fit File Repair Tool. There are lots of other tools. Zip the .fit file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK. Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service , such as OneDrive , Google Drive , Dropbox , etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Nov 29, 2018 · The reason it didn't work for you is that y ou need to delete the original, then import my fixed file again. There were pieces of the original that got imported. Nov 20, 2005 · Some fit files, such as this one, can be fixed by FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. The result can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect Web using the Import Data page. I tested your file, so this works. Just change the activity type from "Other" to "Running." If you have any trouble with this process, let us know.

Jan 4, 2007 · Fix corrupt .fit file nigem7 over 4 years ago I don't recall if I saved the following activity before my Garmin Edge 520 died or after recharging but nonetheless, the file is failing to upload to Garmin Connect stating " We don't support the file type you tried to import".

I deleted the corrupt file from my Fenix 5x, and my watch could finally synch. However, could you also see if you could fix my file, so I can import it manually? It was a treadmill run, so I might take 10% of the distance to calibrate. Thanks in advance for any fix!! Cheers, Anders

I tested it and was able to remove the phantom session 1. Let me know if you continue to have issues.
