Nov 18, 2016 · Off-white or natural seems to be the accepted colour among modellers and groups re-creating British corps, particularly ca. 1777 Light Infantry who carry their blanket rolls on a tump line. Plenty images on line.
All line units are shown with the the ankle length half gaiter that became more common from the early months of the war and in due course this was superseded by the gaitered trouser in summer months.
