Jun 2, 2022 · If your goal is to play all the games, the order they were released in, IMO. There is no real story continuity to worry about. Generally speaking, for me playing a game series' is most rewarding when starting a game at its most 'basic' and experiencing the iterative progression of improvements in later games.

However, I'm incredibly confused by the large amounts of options and malware out there so i'm looking for suggestions.

Sep 21, 2019 · Armored core 2 is the best in my opinion, since it has 2 joysticks instead of 1. Ps1 armored cores are all great, controlls are unmodern. Armored core 4 is like the over the top Anime version of the series. Armored core 5 shouldn't be part of the series. If it was it's own standalone game, then I would say it was good, bit not for me.

Armored Core Generation 1 is the most basic of Armored Core gameplay, but stands out from the other 4 gens nonetheless. Gameplay tends to be in enclosed spaces, and Generation 1 increasingly focuses on mazelike levels.

Armored Core Verdict Days is the most recent one and the only one with supported servers. Its prequel, Armored Core V, no longer has server support but is connected story wise much like a Dark Souls game. Armored Core 4 and Armored Core For Answer are ptp as far as multiplayer, high speed and the first Armored Core games with Miyazaki at the helm.
