Apr 29, 2015 · If you are comparing Apples to Apples, not worth the additional cost. I asked a childhood friend where he checks for rental car comparisons and he uses Expedia, but for AARP members. I'm not an AARP member, but I will check out the car rental prices on Expedia. Our rentals from Dollar in 3 cities (Miami, Orlando and Las Vegas) were fine.

I do not dispute that there was some road splatter of dark dirt on the white car....but we were driving on slushy roads after a snowstorm....including through potholes in the rental car lot.

Basically, this car gets charged every night when it's at our house and during the day at DH's office. Since it's DH's commute car we never worry about going to a station to get the car charged it's just ready to be driven when needed.
