May 13, 2017 · I think I understand how a dual-motor Tesla can distribute torque between the front wheels and the rear wheels. I assume that Tesla also controls wheel slippage from side-to-side. Is it done by applying the brake to the slipping side, by some locking or limited slip control of the differential, or how?

Jul 2, 2019 · Have been informed by my Uk service centre that lone cars are no longer available and that if you have to leave your car with them you will be given a £80 allowance for Uber.
My Model 3's 12 volt battery died. Now I can't unlock or start my car.
Original poster here: I added this update: UPDATE 2/16: Roadside assistance showed up. Was able to open frunk, jump start the 12-volt, and unlock the car.

Oct 17, 2019 · MCU boards in model 3 seems to be second generation but they seem to have the same issue. It is too early for the boards to be failing but eventually they will too. It seems to be an expensive repair when out of warranty. Tesla seems to be logging a lot of data on this eMMC. I wonder if my can with no AP,EAP or FSD is also killing this chip ...

Nov 14, 2024 · My 70 LT-1 currently has 4.11 gears. Originally the car had 3.70 gears in it. I don't really don't like how high the RPM is at 40-60 mph. I think 40 mph is 2200 rpm and 45 to 50 is 2500 rpm. I won't be drag racing anyone, in fact keeping up with Camaro's, and Mustang's of today is not realistic...Tesla's forget about it.
