Living Skyrim makes a number of key choices quite differently. For example, it uses Lux for lighting, and a different set of texture overhauls. Living Skyrim chooses Cathedral for its weathers, which has a different look than Azurite (same author, however!), and Rudy's ENB by default, which looks different from Pi-CHO.

Generally if you want a very performance friendly list you'll need to cut down on graphics alot, there are some mods that are good, I use Skyland AIO, obsidian weather's, community shaders, happy little trees, skoglendi grass and JKs skyrim, however JKs skyrim is not the best for performance and I would skip grass mods if you really need ...

A Performance Friendly Graphics Overhaul for those who need it
Jan 24, 2023 · Cleaned Skyrim Texture - Performance Optimized. I replace most of the vanilla textures so the smaller size and vram saved make this a better choice for me than the original mod. Underground. Overhauls most of the dungeons. Skyland AIO. This overhaul offers the most consistent and widespread textures in my experience.

Like 80% of the mod list are graphical and lighting related with keeping as true to vanilla Skyrim as possible but still feel up to date graphically. Good base to start building on too for your personal taste.
