This is with a Solas 3 blade 15x17 prop. I don't need to push the boat and a lot of time in our steep chop I don't want to go any faster. Boat has a HP rating of 200, but the 4stk weight difference scared me when I repowered, especially with my batteries in the starboard aft compartment. Probably would have necessitated a move to the console.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who can tell you of any substantive differences in the way the boats are manufactured. The differences are typically minor details. If you like the layout, the deal you can get and the dealer, go for it.

Aug 17, 2011 · I can go 22-24mph at 3200rpm at 10GPH. I'd say thats a pretty efficient cruise speed. With the engine so low and centered in the boat you get a great ride. No skip, skip, SLAM like you do in an outboard in heavy weather. I do miss being able to maneuver in shallow water and pull up to the beaches though. 6,500 for a brand new FWC 310 hp 350.

I guess for Oak Island though, a big fast center console would be the best bet. Good luck on the search. Feb 25, 2011 · Because of shallow 18 degree deadrise you had to know how to run it in rough seas (2-4’for a boat this size) as it would fly over waves at speed. It handled waves better at 35mph than 24. I often went out inlet in 4 –7 and have pictures of it out there. I also have pics of foam from a breaking wave flying over and around Bimini.
