Rough country 2.5" lift. Thoughts or reviews?
Dec 1, 2012 · I bought the Rough Country 4" lift in January, 2011, and I'm having spring sagging issues after wheeling 6 times. The replacement springs are due in today by UPS, so the "new improved" (junk) springs will be replaced with "new" (supposedly improved) springs.

Feb 26, 2018 · The axles will be slightly off anytime you lift/lower the Wrangler due to the suspension design. I didn't notice much(if any) difference in the way the Jeep drove after the 2.5" lift even with the axles being slightly off center.

Feb 26, 2018 · *Apparently I bought the 2.5” lift kit early, because the current one for sale includes a few things my kit did not. I think these are the “extra” ones not in my early kit: four “Frt Sway Link Sleeve”, two front and two rear “Bump Stop Spacers”.

Aug 16, 2019 · Just installed a set of Rough Country Vertex adjustable shocks. My rig: 2019 Rubicon 2-door, 35" tires with no bump stop spacers. Shocks installed:-fronts: 68008-rears: 69009R/L These are for 2-3" of lift. These shocks will extend your droop by about 1.5" at both the front and rear of the vehicle, without the need for extended bump stops.

Jul 8, 2018 · I am trying to compare a 2” mopar lift ($1500ish) vs a 2.5” Rough Country suspension/Spacer Lift ($200-$300) in parts. Can someone please go into detail about them and explain the pros/ cons and the ride quality of both.

Jul 20, 2020 · My dealer says they will put the rough country 2.5” suspension lift on for under $700. That’s half the price of the mopar lift not including labor. I am also curious if anyone has put the 2.5” rough country suspension lift on and kept their stock rubicon wheels and put 35’s and had problems with rubbing without wheel spacers.

May 2, 2022 · I mean I get it, they would look pretty small on a 3.5 lift. I would go wider tires when it was time for replacement. As far as why. Because when I was at the Gulches last weekend I bottomed out on the frame/slider in about a 2 1/2 foot hole not the suspension which I know doesn't get lifted with the addition of the lift.

Apr 9, 2023 · So I have a JL unlimited Sport. I want to get a lift on it and am looking at a 2.5” rough country suspension lift. Does anyone have this or have thought about this or anything lift around that price. I want to keep the ride as smooth as possible and not squeaky. I off-road, but this is my daily driver so want it based off comfort not off road.
