Sep 7, 2023 · I've heard that cleaning registry can impact the performance (In a positive way) , but from what I can see , we lack the tool/setting that allows us to clean the registry easily. Manually cleaning registry can be dangerous unless you know what you are doing.

Oct 6, 2022 · Windows 11 needs so many I am hesitant to try editing the registry without an updated registry editor. Those I have used in the past don't appear to have been updated for Win 11. Searches for registry editors have returned only registry cleaners, but nothing has yet been done so it's clean.

Oct 25, 2017 · There are many, the most reputable being CCleaner, but I honestly don't recommend them. They tend to do more damage than good many others are mostly snake oil. The best way to maintain the registry is to actually leave it alone and let Windows 10 handle it. What you should do is keep maintain regular backups of it.
