Looking for Conrail fonts - TrainSim.Com
Also, are there any fonts available for the standard EMD numberboards? I looked at a few font sets on railsimstuff.com, but none of them quite had the look that I'm going for. I'm looking for the style that Conrail used in the mid- and late-80s (the last white-on-black style, as the GP40-2s had when delivered).

I looked at the National Map site - it looks like they have national coverage of 1/3 Arc Second or 10 Meter data in GEOTIFF format. This is far better than the 1 Arc Second or 30 Meter data from the Shuttle Mission (SRTM).
I keep trying to remember that I want to update my B40 from 2002.
Sep 22, 2024 · One minor suggestion for when you get to making your wheels - remember to taper your treads! There's this contemporary trend in rail sims where model builders make these obscenely hi-poly wheels but make them pancake-thin (the tread should be about 4.375" and the flange about 1.375") with straight 90° wheel treads on them.
CSX numberboard font - TrainSim.Com
Anybody know of a good one? My numberboards suck and I haven't been able to find a font that matches CSX (pre-Conrail, cuz the ex-Conrail locos have a different font). Sometimes I can piece together a decent numberboard from several different fonts, but sometimes not. Any help/direction would be appreciated. Thanks!
