Jan 5, 2014 · I'm happy to present to you the most easy and affordable way to level or lift your R50. Basically for years, there has been only two solutions : lift with AC springs for a 2" lift or Krypton Fab for 4". Krypton Fabrication is a great company and if you are looking for a 4" lift kit, they have a great product that will work for you.

Sep 19, 2019 · These wheels later also accommodated 32x11.50R15 BFG AT tires, which fit with a 2" coil spring lift that I had custom-made, since at the time, there were no lift kits available. (This was sometime around late 1999.) I ran 32" tires with my 2" lift for over 15 years with no issues, and my rig has been a more-than-decent trail rig and daily driver.

Mar 22, 2021 · If you exceed a certain amount of rear lift (let's say 5"), the driveshaft will be at a higher operating angle and may cause noise. On my truck, I run 6" of rear lift (9448s + 2" spacers) and I have an occasional buzz when I feather on or off the throttle due to a brief load-loss between the driveshaft and pinion at the u-joint.

Oct 25, 2012 · The kit takes a bit of time to install but I have pretty basic experience and managed to do it fine over a couple of weekends. Steering Rack brackets are a bit of a hassle and I still couldn't get my rack to sit tight after the rotation--it would clatter over every bump etc. etc. Got a shop to cut and modify the bracket in town and now it works ...

Mar 25, 2013 · Piece your lift together 4"SFD+2"AC lift=6" lift. Get the 4"SFD and the only thing you will need from AC is the front 2" lift springs and possibly new struts and you will get 6" of lift. Hey mudfildvaynes,
