Feb 27, 2018 · On mine, the wire on the haptic motor sheered off right at the pigtail where the wire enters the motor housing. Presumably, this happens because the 24G wire flexes just a little each time you get in and out of the vehicle and simply breaks off over time. 24G isn't thick enough to withstand that kind of repeated abuse.

Jun 1, 2015 · I too had a driver's seat haptic motor issue in my Tahoe. Mine was acting up when I would have the parking alert active. Mine was acting up when I would have the parking alert active. The alert system worked as it should with the dash icon illuminating various colors (yellow, orange, red) depending on proximity to objects.
