Oct 14, 2023 · It’s been a fertile few years for Duff McKagan. The Seattle punk-turned-stadium-slaying bassist’s most recent lap around the globe with Guns N’ Roses will bring him back to his hometown for an Oct. 14 show at Climate Pledge Arena.

May 31, 2024 · OMG would be wild. IIRC that was one of the Huge songs that Slash refused to work on back in '96. However, I've come to appreciate it and it actually has a pretty nasty riff that I'd like to hear Slash play.

May 31, 2024 · There has been no indication the last decade that this band have been in studio to lay down Guns tracks other than Slash and Duff working on old stuff from the Chinese era. The only new Axl vocals remains the Bugs Bunny cartoon and the UFO cover. That’s not a matter of fact. That’s just what I think. And I’d fuckin’ loooove to be wrong.

Feb 8, 2023 · I hear you, I want good new music too! To answer your question @JimiRose, I would say it’s because the “new” songs they’ve released have been let downs for various reasons. Lazy lyrics, keeping 2 seconds of a former members solo on the record, shoddy production or mixing, etc.

They ought to feel a bit embarrassed about themselves for still not getting over the fact that Guns N' Roses doesn't release music frequently. I mean, how many years of frustration does it take for people to wise up and stop being frustrated over something that they can't affect the slightest?

Feb 8, 2023 · The music was described as a mix of Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails. Chris Vrenna and Billy Howerdel were involved and likely influenced the music. Still, Vrenna described the album as pretty old-school rock, similar to Appetite. It seems like the band was now working on new songs and had abandoned songs from the Matt/Duff/Slash sessions.

May 31, 2024 · However, in terms of Guns N Roses - which is what was being discussed. ie when to release, when to tour, what to sell as merch, what to say to the media etc. entire creative control was Axl and TB, and that hasn't changed now with slash and duff back.
