Aug 6, 2017 · I woke up from surgery with an abdominal binder on. I was told at dischage it was not necessary to wear 24/7 but I have only removed to shower once. I wasn't in the best shape pre-surgery so I think it's helping my weak ab muscles but I think it might be making it harder for my body to move it's first bm through.
