Nov 20, 2020 · Hello, I preordered the new Xbox series X and the USB-C play and charge kit but I’m not sure the play and charge kit is working. There are no lights on the cable that indicate it’s charging so when I press the Xbox home button I would expect to see the battery charging animation. Feb 14, 2023 · Unlike Xbox One or Series X|S controllers, the 360 wireless controllers are always wireless. The Play & Charge kit simply charges the battery, it does not send data. The only way to use an 360 wireless controller on a PC is via an Xbox 360 gaming receiver for Windows.

Feb 8, 2022 · I have had a weird situation this week where I both bought a used Xbox one Titanfall controller and a sealed/new Xbox One Play and Charge kit, both off EBAY. The battery hasn’t been able to hold a charge past 5-6 hours or so in that controller, whereas most of my Xbox One controllers last 20-25 hours or more.

I have tried plugging my controller directly into the Xbox, both whilst playing and whilst the console is on Standby; I have tried different USB ports on the Xbox; I have tried plugging the controller into a different USB source, again whilst playing and overnight.
