Start by selecting an existing link or by creating a new link for the product you would like to sell.

Link is Stripe’s one-click checkout experience. Link lets your customers securely save their payment information and re-use it on your site and across hundreds of thousands of businesses for faster checkout. Stripe allows users to accept one-time or recurring online donations through a secure, Stripe-hosted payment page called Payment Links. Users can create a fixed amount donation or let donors choose the amount to donate by setting up a payment link in the Stripe Dashboard.

Stripe Checkout offers and collects more info, including shipping address collection and shows a product list / order total and submit button, which the Payment Element does not.

After turning on, most payment methods will show as “On” immediately, while a select few may show “Pending” temporarily. Depending on your Stripe integration, you may need to take additional steps to start accepting that payment method on your site.

Link saves and autofills payment and shipping information for your customers so they don’t need to enter payment details manually. Your customers can use different funding sources with Link, including credit cards, debit cards, and US bank accounts.

You can disable Link from your payment method settings page in your Dashboard. For Stripe Elements users, Link is available to all users for Web via the Payment Element, Payment Request Button Element, and the Card Element. On the right side of the page, you can view and manage the customer’s subscriptions, saved payment methods, credit balance, payments, and invoices. You can also see an overview of the customer’s recent activity, or switch to the events and logs tab to see a more detailed history.
