Feb 27, 2019 · I don't believe there's any way to turn holidays off as long as you have Seasons installed. However, you can adjust the length of each season in the Options menu and that will give you some control over the day of the week for the holidays. For example, setting the season lengths to 10 days will put the holiday on the weekend.

Jul 11, 2018 · Popup holidays and some other holidays from my experience are work days. All holidays are fully editable and thus you can always make all holidays a day off or a full work day. But if you cancel a holiday, it is gone so off to work you go given the day is no longer a holiday you unless it is your normal day off that is.

May 14, 2022 · Haha, the better solution is whatever works best for you and your sims. Myself, I wouldn't want to wait around for the holidays to sort themselves out. I would definitely re-do holidays in the upcoming 14 days, then worry about the rest later. In your case, I can see how redoing them all at once would be time-consuming hassle.

Dec 11, 2018 · Children and teens can't go to school on holidays, but I've found you can make sims with jobs go to work. It requires some awareness, however, because the game won't give you a notification when it's an hour before start time and sims will not autonomously go to work.

Sep 6, 2020 · YOU CAN own a vacation house IN ANY WORLD in Sims 4, here's how you do it: Find the house or lot you want for your vacation home. Go into it via Build Mode. In the top left (info panel) change the property to Retail. All you need on a retail property is one cash register. Buy one and place it on a counter.
