He put the grip cap I took off the Kreighoff and put it on my Perazzi for free. He put time into making it fit and never charged me a penny.

Jan 30, 2018 · I’ve done some reading here on the subject. I’ve recently acquired a new 870 Comp and I have no plans to get rid of it. I actually would like to personalize it with an engraved grip cap. I’ve seen some for sale at Midway and Brownells. They are smaller than the actual grip dimensions. The customs I’ve seen are exactly the size of the grip.

Apr 17, 2019 · I spoke with Rick @ Lopez engraving and he said adhesive probably wont work. The caps are domed shaped and therefore wont sit flat to the grip horn surface. Therefore preventing a good solid area to adhere the glue or 2 sided tape. JT

Jan 10, 2019 · We are in the process of having grip caps cast. We have had a mold made for Browning trap guns (725, and XT) and are eagerly awaiting the finished product! The caps are teardrop shaped and may fit other guns with similar grips. We will be having them cast in sterling silver and bronze and possibly gold too.
