Council | The Village of Indian Hill
The Indian Hill Village Council first met July 7, 1941, after the incorporation of the Village. The council consists of seven elected members, each of whom serve a two year term. The mayor and vice mayor are chosen by, and from, the seven council members.
Village History | The Village of Indian Hill
The nearly 20 square miles, now known as Indian Hill, was first eyed by the Indian tribes of the Shawnee, Miami, and Delaware. From their villages at Pickaway and Chillicothe, they came to hunt the wooded slopes and fish the clear streams.
Water Works | The Village of Indian Hill
The Water Works provides water supply and distribution maintenance service to Indian Hill, Terrace Park, Camp Dennison, approximately half of Madeira, and portions of Montgomery, Milford, Symmes Township and Columbia Township.

The Public Works/Service Department provides a broad range of public services and maintenance throughout the Village. This includes areas such as: Village rights-of-way, public buildings and grounds, green areas, parks, recreational facilities, bridle trails, storm sewer drainage systems, snow and ice control.
Grand Valley | The Village of Indian Hill
Nov 3, 2024 · The Grand Valley Preserve, a former gravel excavation site, was acquired by the Village of Indian Hill in 2002. Located in Camp Dennison, the 379 acre site has been the focus of a reclamation project to restore wildlife and the Preserve’s natural beauty.
