It's already processed and it's stereo only, which Android 13's spatial audio doesn't have an effect on. There is no difference when turning on/off spatial audio in the headphones' settings but the effect is there cause it's already processed.

May 29, 2023 · Razer's THX spatial audio isn't the greatest. Atmos and DTS X for headphones work better for me especially in games that explicitly support microsoft's spatial sound API for the full 3d effect including height effects. If a game doesn't support the API it just virtualizes regular 5.1 or 7.1 surround.

Here's how to test that Sonic or Atmos for headphones is working: Turn the spatial audio output on in the sound control panel. Install VLC Playback a test multichannel video. Very easy to find say an example Dolby TrueHD channel test online. The effect is obvious.

The quality of sound is very low and flat. It doesn't separate the sound effects well either, with harsh peek sounds at times.

May 5, 2023 · It mostly depend on what type of Spatial Sound you use, consider there are different types and usually not free, like Dolby Atmos or DTS, if your headphones have one of these softwares licensed, you can use it without any issues, and yes you can test the sound on a specific youtube video with 3d sound, but i prefer directly into the specificied app you use to simulate the spatial sound.
