Jan 13, 2022 · In comparison, IMO My War was literally banger since the first seconds. It felt like a war cry, it was so original & truly fitting unlike this OP. The song was full of twists and surprises, such as the operatic interlude filled with percussions and a collage of haunting vocals.

Dec 31, 2020 · Why should you need subs to understand the lyrics when its sung in english. Lyrics with foreshadowing don't make a good op alone. It's a clusterfuck of cheap synth noises. And let's not forget the visuals. Reused frames, generic war imagery. If you didn't know what Attack on Titan was you'd confuse the opening with any ww2 style "war is bad" anime.

This season is the only reason Attack on Titan came into my Top 5 Anime of all time. The first part has some god-tier action scenes, politics and overall story that surpassed my expectations. And the second part was something I never thought would be so Jaw-Dropped of. I feel Attack on Titan became what it is now, only due to S3 part 2.
