Aug 12, 2023 · My main suspicion was the following: the ground is raised above airbrick / DPC course, and is creating a bridge with the plinth. The wall is damp only at low levels. Thus I decided to get a drain done outside, and separate the ground concrete from the house.

Jul 27, 2003 · It somehow doesn’t seem correct to me to place brick below grade. In the past I’ve seen good-quality bricks placed in the ground virtually disintegrate. Inside the brick columns are HSS posts which support steel I’s , and no weep holes were placed in any of the columns.
