Nov 26, 2023 · In 2016 alone, you had Life of Pablo, Moon Shaped Pool, Blonde, a Seat at the Table, Blackstar, Lemonade, Untitled, Unmastered, Awaken my Love!, Bottomless Pit, Starboy. Personally my favorite is 22, a million by Bon Iver. I can’t think of any other year in my life that’s gonna be topped musical wise.

I can agree with this sentiment. Tyler dropped Wolf that year, Earl dropped Doris (actually going to see his 10 year anniversary next month in LA.) Drake dropped Nothing Was the Same. The Weeknd dropped Kissland. However, that was also a very light year for music in terms of some popular bands and artists now.

Apr 2, 2024 · A year with Johnny Gill's "Rub You The Right Way" and Bell Biv Devoe's "Poison" can't be all bad. I do agree that it is lackluster compared to other years of the 90s, but as a year in terms of chart music, it wasn't that bad. 1987 was a way worse year in terms of chart music. Take a look at Todd's video on 1987, it was honestly pretty dire.

I think with music sometimes just how your life is going can affect it massively too. A lot of people do better stressed and it works as a release. I'm the opposite and my music falls apart of I'm stressed. Combine any outside influences with the fact you are really early doors with learning, this stuff is bound to happen.

Gay marriage was finally legalized so we were ALL feeling frisky and free. Bernie was making progressivism popular but none of us were self-righteous, leftist crazies yet. The music was fire (I like it when you sleep, anti, Views, Coloring Book, Blonde, The Life of Pablo, Dangerous Woman). The economy was popping off. Inflation was down.

Halfway through the year, I was praying for the arrival of The Beatles and the other British Invasion bands. There's also a lot of really crappy novelty songs that have not aged well. 1974: I don't hate this year as much as other people do, but it's undeniably the worst year of the 70s in terms of the Billboard charts.

Jul 9, 2022 · Good Life is worth the money for some things that aren’t even advertised. I’m not sure if it’s the slightly older clientele, or maybe more seasoned festival goers or what, but the people in Good Life seem to actually value sleep and have respect for their neighbors and don’t blast music until 6 am. I sleep like a baby in Good Life.
What should you focus on to change your life in a year?
I feel like my life could be improved on many many levels. I feel like I'm much more of a consumer, than someone who adds value to the world. I started a journal on my birthday and I'll focus on 2-3 habits each month to either improve or develop. I want to be at a much better place in one year. For November my goals were:
