Oct 27, 2010 · It sounds like a turbo or supercharger or even a cam/crank noisy gear drive whine. It's not that loud, but it's definitely noticeable and gets louder at RPM's increase. It does not do it at idle. It does it when I give it gas in every gear, park, reverse, neutral and all forward gears when accelerating, cruising or revving it in park and neutral.

All done by previous owner before I got her last year. For anyone who is curious. 23K subscribers in the mopar community.

Mar 4, 2017 · I would say 6.4L and 6.2L Hellcats are pretty comparable in sound (except for the S/C whine, obviously). There is an article on torquenews that compares the two exhausts back to back and finds the 6.4 to be throatier.
