It is cold enough for snow, and we’ve got more on the way, says FOX 5’s Tucker Barnes, as all eyes shift to a winter weather system that is threatening the Washington, D.C. region this weekend.

After a pretty cloudy and once again cold Friday afternoon, light snow is expected to start overspreading the region into the later evening hours.

WASHINGTON - Snowfall continues to move across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas on Monday morning. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for D.C., central and northern Maryland, and northern Virginia, effective until 1 a.m. Tuesday.
