The struggling Pacific Tsunami Museum is calling for community support to keep its doors open. HPR’s Savannah Harriman-Pote reports on what’s next for this Hilo landmark.

Every time we visit a Hawaiian island we make it a point to try out something new or unusual. Our preference is to go off the beaten path or to try a lesser-known tour that isn’t packed with tourists.

Artists also will be demonstrating their craft for attendees throughout the day with something scheduled in several locations along Banyan Drive. The art stroll returns after a 4-year hiatus.
