A decision was reached during a recent meeting of the Atlantic State Marine Fishery Commission to keep the current recreational fishing regulations for striped bass in place for 2025.

After more than three hours of discussions, it decided to leave 2025 management measures unchanged, and to instead initiate a new addendum to the ASMFC’s striped bass management plan.
