Spurs CEO R.C. Buford says Gregg Popovich is aggressive in his recovery from a November stroke, with the team adding that the Hall of Famer continues to make progress.

While in France for the San Antonio Spurs pair of games against the Indiana Pacers, the franchise’s CEO R.C. Buford shared an update on the status of Gregg Popovich. The Hall of Fame coach suffered a mild stroke in early November and has been away from the organization officially since then.

Indiana’s Rick Carlisle has coached more games against San Antonio’s Gregg Popovich than anyone else. They’ve had 87 head-to-head matchups, including playoffs.
