The U.S. government named 15 drugs that will be subject to the second round of price negotiations by Medicare, including Ozempic and Wegovy, the drugs at the center of the weight-loss craze.

Ozempic is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat Type 2 diabetes, but some doctors prescribe the medication "off-label" for weight loss, as is permissible by the FDA.

Eli Lilly's experimental weight loss drug, retatrutide, has demonstrated encouraging results in helping obese adults lose weight.
