India advanced to the ICC Women's U-19 T20 World Cup final by defeating England by nine wickets. Kamalini scored 56 not out, while spinners Parunika Sisodia and Vaishnavi Sharma restricted England to 113 for eight.

Kamalini's batting was all about precise placing and finding angles rather than power as England bowlers ran out of options against the left-hander.

Parunika had a major task to achieve after England were off to a flying start, racing to 37 for no loss after four overs. She made an instant impact, removing Jemima Spence and Trudy Johnson to stem the flow of runs, before coming back to dismiss the dangerous Katie Jonesas the rivals were restricted to 113/8.
