A 12-year-old boy has died after a stabbing in Birmingham. West Midlands Police said the boy was found with “serious injuries” in Hall Green at 3pm on Tuesday. Another boy, 14, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. The 12-year-old was taken to hospital but died as a result of his injuries.

A 12-year-old boy stabbed to death in Birmingham has been named as Leo Ross by police. The West Midlands force said the victim was stabbed in the stomach and found near Scribers Lane in Hall Green at about 15:40 GMT on Tuesday and died in hospital later.
