SPOILERS ABOUND: Taylor Sheridan just wrapped the Yellowstone saga — at least for now — with tonight’s just concluded final episode. Deadline offers our usual recap, followed by a back and forth discussion between Mike Fleming Jr and Lynette Rice, who has spent a lot of time covering the Taylor Sheridan Universe. Taylor Sheridan has emerged as the current King of Television after the massive success of Yellowstone led to a whole slate of shows, but even so, it's hard to quite fathom exactly how much money his shows are raking in for the Paramount Network — and how much they cost.

The Dec. 15 episode will also be super-sized, running one hour and 26 minutes. Titled, “Life Is A Promise,” the logline for the Sheridan-penned ending reads, “The fate of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch is revealed.”

So, the great, sprawling Yellowstone has concluded, with a suitably epic feature-length resolution in which Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton takes bloody revenge against her father’s killer, Wes Bentley’s Jamie Dutton.

It remains to be seen whether Sheridan will part ways with any of his ranch properties in the wake of “Yellowstone” ending.
