The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has banned drone use in towns and cities across New Jersey amid ongoing concerns about mysterious drone flights reported all over the region.The FAA on Wednesday posted “temporary flight restrictions for special security reasons” — the FAA did not explain what those special security reasons are.

The Federal Aviation Administration said Thursday it is temporarily barring drone flights over 22 critical infrastructure locations in New Jersey. The FAA said the decision was made at the request of federal security partners after the agency barred drones over two locations in New Jersey in November.
