The Road to WrestleMania 41 has begun, and it’s time for one of WWE’s most enjoyable events of the year. The Royal Rumble is always full of surprises, and there’s plenty on the line as the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble will get a title match at WrestleMania later this year.

AJ Lee will be top of most people’s wishlists for this weekend, with fans hoping she will return in the Royal Rumble for her first WWE appearance in a decade. Her husband CM Punk made his own unlikely comeback in November 2023, and he’s jokingly dropped some hints his wife could follow him.

While Jeff didn't get his hands on the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble that year, the forever-popular star would close out 2008 as the WWE Champion - defeating Triple H and Edge in a triple threat bout for that prize at December's Armageddon event.
