The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) announced the 2025 exam dates for the licensed guide program and other select licenses.

"The individual admitted he had shot the turkey from a roadway and given the carcass to his friend as a birthday present," the DEC said.

The department of transportation will look at how to protect wildlife crossing roadways while also keeping drivers safe.
