Michigan football won't lose as much as it had going from the 2023 season where it won the national championship to 2024 as it will from 2024 to 2025, but still, it needs some continuity moving forward.

One of Michigan football’s most vocal leaders is staying in Ann Arbor. Fullback/tight end Max Bredeson, a team captain this season, announced on Instagram Wednesday he is returning for a fifth season. “Team 146 let’s do it,” he wrote. “Go blue.”

Taking to social media, Mullings announced that he is officially moving on, meaning The Game was his final game. He has officially declared for the NFL draft, forgoing his final eligible appearance.

Michigan Wolverines fullback Max Bredeson announced he is forgoing the NFL Draft and will be returning to Ann Arbor for the 2025 season. Bredeson has been a part of the Michigan football team since his true freshman season in 2021.

Michigan football may have gone 7-5 this past season but it was rife with talent — particularly on the defensive side of the ball. But even with multiple stars declaring for the NFL draft shortly after the conclusion of the regular season, there was one Wolverine who appeared to be holding out.
