US President Donald J. Trump’s approach to managing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict may have legs, even if Arabs and Muslims reject his call for the resettlement of Gazan Palestinians.
President Trump has suggested that Gazans should be evacuated from the devastated enclave and taken in by Jordan and Egypt.
The border point had been closed after Israel invaded the southern city of Rafah in May but is opening again as part of the cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
