Two Russian tankers carrying thousands of tons of fuel were badly damaged in stormy weather near the Black Sea over the weekend, leading to an oil spill, according to Russian state media.

The tug was believed to have been escorting a small cruise ship into harbour when it suddenly overturned. A 200m exclusion zone and drone ban were put in place for the salvage operation.
