Nurses with the Illinois Nurses Association began their strike at the University of Illinois Hospital early Wednesday morning, gathering in large numbers to march around the facility.

Of those hospitals evaluated as maternity hospitals in the Chicago area, Rush University Medical Center and University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago were not ranked as high performing.
